I had a dream I was at a place where they were selling baked goods etc .. they use to do this at my old job in reality so I'm thinking it was a representative of that . I rember picking out some things and one stood out it was a big piece of pumpkin bread I believe. I rember picking the biggest piece . Then I saw my friend that I use to work with she had gotten a big beautiful cup cake and it was the last one . She said she would share it with me .. she unwrapped it and gave it to me to take the first bite I took a small bite I didn't even get any icing .I took a small bite out of respect that it was her cupcake.. it was chocolate and I took a small bite and gave it to her she ate the whole thing I saw her shoving it in her mouth I was so upset with her because she didn't share like she said she would. I guess I was going to give her a ride home but I ended up in a room with my ex boss I wanted to be mad at her for how she did me at my old job in reality she treated us bad then laid us off . But in the dream I chose not to be indifferent towards her and just talked about her baking business I believe.. I left out of there wondering were my friend was to take her home as promised. I walked into a shop it was like some kinda animal or camping supply shop i asked for the way out and he pointed to a weird counter as I was trying to climb on the counter to the exit I couldn't I was too short and couldn't reach it or pull myself up a man came and tried to help me I told him to push me up and then I told him to put his hands on my hips because he was hesitant to do so he got me up there and there were snakes he picked up a stick and pulled up the snakes but they were dead some had their heads cut off etc. I said I'm not going through there most were dead snakes but the ones in the very back looked alive they were smaller than the dead ones .the man that worked there said he usually takes all the snakes out then put them back in to get through .. I said no so we went another way as we entered a garage looking place there was a game with keys to get out you had to shoot the guns and fit the keys the guy that helped me was with me and I was thinking this is not going to work so I looked around and saw garage opener on the wall I pushed it and it opened to the outside I was relieved as I walked out it was some kinda event going on outside it was huge toy soldiers that looked broken or something. I remember thinking I wasn't going to try and find my friend to take her home . I remember thinking I just want to go home and I was glad I found a way out
This dream is packed with vivid symbolism, reflecting your personal experiences, emotions, and subconscious mind processing current or past life events.
The initial setting in the bakery is reminiscent of comfort and nostalgia, perhaps relating to your past job. The act of choosing a large piece of pumpkin bread suggests a desire for fulfillment or satisfaction in some area of your life. Similarly, the interaction with your friend highlights themes of fairness, trust, and disappointment. You felt deceived when your friend didn't share the cupcake as agreed, reflecting perhaps some issues with reciprocity or unfulfilled promises in your relationships. This sequence might also symbolize feeling undervalued or taken for granted in certain areas of life.
Meeting your ex-boss indicates unresolved feelings or tensions regarding that period of your life. Your choice not to express anger or bitterness in the dream signifies a latent desire to move past negative emotions or burdens related to that experience. Engaging in a conversation about her baking business suggests a focus on progress, creativity, or starting anew despite past grievances.
The maze-like escape from the shop represents a quest for direction or seeking a way out of a difficult situation. The counter that was too high to climb might illustrate feelings of inadequacy or challenges you feel unable to overcome by yourself. Asking for assistance highlights the importance of reaching out for help or collaboration when facing obstacles.
Snakes, in various dream interpretations, typically symbolize fear, transformation, or hidden threats. The dead and decapitated snakes might indicate past fears or threats you have overcome, while the smaller, living ones suggest ongoing, possibly minor worries. Choosing to avoid the path with snakes reflects a decision to sidestep potential danger or stress, highlighting a cautious or pragmatic approach to challenges.
The garage-like area with the game and keys points to obstacles that feel unnecessarily complicated or daunting. The act of finding a straightforward way out by using the garage door opener is an empowering moment. It signifies discovering simple, effective solutions to complex problems, trusting your instincts, and perhaps outsmarting expectations or traditional methods to achieve your goals.
Emerging into an outdoor event with broken toy soldiers can symbolize facing chaos or confusion after navigating internal troubles, yet choosing not to engage further (by not seeking your friend) highlights a decision to prioritize self-care and independence. Wanting to go home signifies a yearning for peace, familiarity, or a return to a comfortable state of being.
Overall, your dream reflects a rich blend of processing past experiences, seeking resolution and autonomy, and the subconscious piecing together emotions related to trust, overcoming obstacles, and finding peaceful solutions.
